This cozy five-apartment holiday village consists of five buildings:

1. "Lepistö" -cottage (60 m2)
2. & 3. two semi-detached houses, with two apartments in each (50 m2 each)
4. lakeside sauna
5. small reception building

The client's vision was to build a holiday village that would feel like living in a traditional Finnish log cabin. But with modern amenities, like high ceilings, warm floors, and large windows. We achieved this by using logs manufactured by Kontio in all buildings, paying the closest attention to detail when embedding the houses into the surroundings, and working very closely with the client. We were involved in this project from start to finish, including selecting and combining two sites, master planning, design of buildings, design of utilities, works management, and construction supervision. The project was successfully commissioned after a year and a half after its beginning. The client has been happily renting the village for the past ten years.
