Officially, this was a renovation project, not a construction project. But we rebuild almost everything. And that is what made this project quite enjoyable. Depending on the county, in Finland, you can build your home or cottage at least 40-50 meters from the coastline. But on this site, the building is only 25 meters from the coastline, and that is because it was initially built before the current regulation took place. The building was built from a wooden frame and it was clad with log panels, that were custom made for this house. It is located by the Baltic Sea and it also has a separate 60m2 one-car garage, seaside sauna, and a boat dock.
